Join Christina Fairman, Youth Services Librarian, for a gentle program sure to enchant the youngest among us! Every Wednesday, we will explore the wonders of music, colors, sounds and books to stimulate a child's growing imagination. Registration is requested but not required. Drop ins are always welcome. Approximate duration: 20 minutes, with opportunity afterwards for parent/caregiver socializing and browsing of the collection.

ARE YOU SMARTER THAN A FIFTH GRADER?

7:00 pmThe friends of the Hampden Library and the Teen Advisory Group invite everyone to an evening of family fun and entertainment! There are three ways to participate: 1) Come and cheer on the teams for a $2 suggested donation (children under 5 are free); 2) join a team of 2 - 4 people and prove that you are smarter than a 5th Grader ($50 per team tax deductible donation); or 3) complete an entry form to be a 5th Grade panel member (10 current 5th Graders will be randomly selected to be onstage as part of our "Panel of Experts").
Prizes will be awarded, and popcorn, candy and beverages will be for sale. Hosted by Rick Rubin. For entry forms and more information, call Patty Ehlers or Ann Garbecki at 237-7061. All entries must be received by April 10. BONUS!
